April 2016. A Monday. Forces are gathering to create a new production of The Tempest, to perform in Suffolk and to tour to Spain. The cast has been chosen, the production crew assembled, and silk is hemmed.
Secret meetings are held over sneaky cups of coffee with director Annie Eddington and the camera wielding forces of Prospero.
There's even a production meeting where the set is discussed and the world set to rights. (Photographic evidence for this event is pending.)
Then, but a couple of days later, on a quiet unsuspecting Wednesday evening, a gathering occurred in Maplestead. Nine actors, two musicians, a stage manager, producer, and director, sat and talked Shakespeare. Cuts were made, sets discussed, a play read and cake eaten. There were photographs taken that evening... but they will follow in the fullness of time.
